Today i will be sharing more of my college work with you guys - I studied BTEC in Art and Design and then i specialized in Fashion and Textiles (for any of those who are wondering also i loved it! lots better than alevel art) so at college i did a lot of traditional printing as well as other techniques within my speciality. These designs are created using a traditional process called 'Etching'; its where you scratch on a metal plate to create a design and then you use printing inks to transfer the design on paper and you can use these metal plates several times before they worn out
My inspiration for this project came from nature, especially sea shells and plants - i kept the colours minimal and block
